I hope to not have to look at Craig’s list for a long, long time. The past month or so, I was looking for a swing set for the kids, and it burned me a couple times but turned out good at the end. Find one you like, it’s gone. Find one close, it’s crap. Be the first caller ready to pick up early next morning, they sell to someone else. I almost gave up. I know that persistence pays off, everything happens for a reason. And even through the law of attraction, if I think about that perfect swing set, it should come to me, right? So funny how things work, I went from feeling screwed over and totally disappointed, to actually finding a better deal on a newer set. The only catch, a longer drive. But even that proved to be a great day of fun with my hubby.
So here are some pics of the kids on their new swing set. Found it last Thursday night, drove to Hastings, MN Friday to get it, Neil set up Saturday, and now our backyard fun. I am not sure who is happier, me or the kids.
We have already had several (minor) injuries… but that ain’t stopping them. M is learning how tough it is to do monkey bars, and B likes to go back and forth on the swing on his tummy…the slide is fast, with quite the little “bump” at the end…. yes I tried it!
